Jorge Carrasco is an esteemed blockchain and Web3 expert, boasting over 15 years of experience in building and developing business lines linked to emerging technologies. He provides strategic counsel to clients on enterprise blockchain implementation across a myriad of sectors and has been a key player in nationwide consortium implementations. He’s been at the heart of some significant enterprise blockchain projects in the Middle East, establishing consortiums in industries such as finance, education, and retail.
Carrasco’s tenure includes the role of Director of Emerging Technologies at e&, previously known as Etisalat. During this phase, he designed and implemented cutting-edge solutions in fields such as blockchain, robotics, 5G, digital twins, and the metaverse for enterprise customers in the public and private sectors. He gained considerable experience driving business development in the Middle East. Prior to this, he held senior roles at Fon, Telefonica, and Ericsson, further solidifying his robust technical background.
