Eng. Feras Al-Salem is the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Kuwait Business Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates since October 2022, and was the Vice-President of the council since February 2020. In this capacity, he is actively involved in advancing the bilateral economic relationship between the UAE and the State of Kuwait as a representative of the State-Owned and Private Kuwaiti companies operating in the UAE alongside the Kuwaiti businessmen and investors. Concurrent to his role as the Chairman of the Kuwaiti Business Council, Mr. Al-Salem has been serving bilaterally in the State-Owned Oil Company in Kuwait for more than 11 Years with an initial role as part of the first Kuwaiti Nationals in charge of the Digitization of Oilfield Operations. Eng. Feras is a reputable Petroleum Expert both technically and in relation to global oil production strategies and economics  with many contributions in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries National News channels and conferences he has also published a number scientific articles and reviews in the same field along with the Golden Award for Achieving 1^st place in the 2021 Hackathon organized by the Ministry of Oil in Kuwait. Feras is also the CEO of Al-Salem International overseeing the family business investments and expansion internationally.
Mr. Al-Salem is currently a PhD Candidate at UAEU University and attained a Master’s Degree of Science in Environmental Sciences from Kuwait University, and a Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Petroleum Engineering from the Australian University in Kuwait.
Throughout his professional career Mr. Al-Salem was selected to be a Board Member of the Kuwait Gulf Oil Company Union and a Member of the Union of Petroleum and Petrochemicals professionals in Kuwait.

Eng. Feras has also been an active member of the Oil and Gas Committee at the World Federation of Engineering Organizations and the Oil and Gas Committee at the Kuwait Society of Engineers as well as being a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and has served on the Editorial Board of several related Oil and Gas Conferences. Besides his professional interests Mr. Al-Salem is a modest soccer fan and enjoys travelling and exploring new cultures.
