Eetu Kuneinen is an expert on Digital Finance, who is currently building an International regulatory compliant Fintech ecosystem, and helps Fintech firms to obtain regulatory license through Astana Business Accelerator & Consultancy (ABAC). He is a Co-Founder & Chief Fintech Officer at DGC (goldbacked stablecoin) and Founder of a Fintech news platform (fintechs.fi). Previously Eetu was involved in building two digital banks – the latest under Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) in Kazakhstan (Eurasia Continental Fintech), where he was the President and built it from zero to acquisition. Prior
to that he was a Director of Technology Strategy (BOA Financial Group) enrolling new banking technology for Bank of Asia.
Before moving his focus to banking and digital finance, as an internet entrepreneur Eetu founded a number of online businesses – 3dprintingindustry.com was acquired in 2016. Eetu also Chairs of Thai Fintech Association Committee on International Relations, and is a Member of United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia Pacific (ESCAP) Sustainable Business Network (ESBN) and its Task Force on Digital Economy, and a Member of World Digital Chamber International Advisory Council. Eetu holds an MBA from Bangkok University and a BBA from Haaga Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland). His research paper on digital marketing was published in Academic and Business Research Institute’s Journal of Management and Marketing Research, and he currently publishes industry reports on Fintech under Fintechs.fi.
