Aidan Burley is a professional management consultant,successful entrepreneur, and former UK Member of Parliament. He joined Accenture in 2001 after graduating from St John’sCollege, Oxford, and worked in the strategy division of their government practice, advising clients in central and local government. In 2008, he became Head of Government Relations for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), a global IT services company, with over 70,000 employees, who were one the major Local Service Providers (LSP) for the Government’s flagship £3 billion NHS IT Programme (NPfIT).
In 2010 he was elected Conservative MP for Cannock Chase with 14.01%, with the largest “swing” in the country, and became the PPS to Rt Hon Philip Hammond MP, who was later appointed Chancellor. Aidan left politics in 2015 to become an entrepreneur and set up an e-commerce business, which he
grew to profitability and over £5 million revenues before selling his shares to his business partner as part of an MBO. In 2021 he joined World PR, a global PR consultancy, as Chief of Staff to the Chairman and CEO. Aidan is a business mentor to the NatWest Entrepreneurial Accelerator programme and an Advisor to Debretts Private Finance in Birmingham, where he lives with his wife and two sons.Since June 2023 Aidan joined QluPod AG as Head of Sales and Marketing
