Ana Maria Pătru, a social entrepreneur and certified mediator. With nearly two decades of experience in high-level politics, including serving as the President of the Permanent Electoral Authority in Romania and as the Vice President of the World Association of Electoral Bodies, she decided to chart a new course. She founded a game-changing NGO dedicated to supporting and inspiring women to take active roles in their communities.
In previous roles, she had the privilege of contributing to electoral reform programs both in Romania and in other nations. She shared her expertise at international conferences in the USA, South Africa, the Republic of Moldova, and South Korea.
Building on this rich background, she established the “Women for a Better Society” Association, with a mission to empower women to embrace their vital roles in society. Promoting and supporting women in their personal and professional development is a cause she is deeply committed to.
